Details of SPLASH
It is our pleasure to introduce to you Badruka College P.G.Centre- a college of high repute and a 57 year history of academic excellence in commerce and management education. This institute is the most sought after for admissions into the courses conducted by it. Over the years it has produced distinguished personalities occupying high places of eminence in various fields not only in India but also far and wide in different countries. The Department of Business Management was the first private institute to get affiliation from Osmania University in 1987 to conduct 2 year full time MBA programme, and is ranked among the top 50 B-Schools in various surveys conducted by Org Marg.
“SPLASH” is a mega management cum cultural event organized by the students of MBA. This has been a tradition since the inception of the institute in 1987, which has been getting tremendous response from the management fraternity and corporate as well.
“Splash” has acquired a high degree of reputation for the innovative ideas, the challenges and the organizing abilities of the students. It provides the platform for the budding managerial talent to clash, compete and win. The response from the students and the sponsors has been tremendous every year.
We also invite eminent corporate personalities from organizations like Satyam Computers, India Bulls, ICICI, Bartronics, Coco-Cola, Karvy and also other leading players in the Small and Medium Enterprises of various sectors as Chief Guests or Judges for various events.
This year we are organizing “Splash” on 21st and 22nd of March, at our college campus. A small brief up of the events would give you more clarity of our event.
Formal Events:
1) Young Manager- The flagship event which tests students on all the attributes required for being the best managers. Their knowledge, skills, aptitude, EQ and IQ are tested through various management tools.
2) Business Quiz-Quiz on various management and business related issues.
3) Finance , Marketing , HR event- These events will test the fundamental concepts of the specialization through a written test and later the two rounds will test the students on the practical aspects of the subject through case studies, role plays, B-games, etc. These events are mostly developed based on the sponsors requirements of promoting his products/ services.
4) Stock market simulation-A software is used which will create a simulated case of trade on stock and student is tested on the skills of understanding and operations of the market and how they play the game of stock market.
Informal Events:
1) Antakshri- It is based on the model of Zee TV’s ‘Antakshri’ of Hindi film songs.
2) Dance Competition- A team event where a theme is given. Eg. Folk, Item numbers, Disco, etc. The students will perform for about 10 minutes each.
3) Skits- Theme based skits are presented by students.
4) Splash Race- A treasure hunt in the city based on a puzzle having clues of different sponsors in the route. A programme based on the model of Amazing Race in AXN channel.It is the event, where participants from different colleges need to make a trip of map sketched by us. Map will be drafted as per the clues given on the touch points (sponsors’ outlets). Participants need to cover all these touch points and collect the points or any article from that point and reach the destination. By this the sponsorors can give their company’s outlet as the touch point. All the participants will carry the logo of the sponsorors and will cover 30 to 40 km all over the city. This way the sponsor can promote their products and services
Special Attraction.

Having the entire segment of youth of age group of 20-25 pursuing their management courses in most of the leading colleges in the twin cities gathering at one place.

The gathering could be easily between 1000 and 1500 from more than 50 colleges.

the gathering also forms a pool of prospective candidates for recruitment to your various management related positions.

The gathering is a very prospective group which would be very soon employed in the top companies and have disposable incomes of around Rs15000 per month hence they become the most targeted group by various business firms.
